Each year the Harrow Association awards Gap year travel grants to School leavers. In the last three years grants have been given out to over twenty-five Harrovians.
The individual awards range between £100 - £500 but have been as high as £2,000 and are awarded on the merit of the individual proposals and presentations to the Board.
The Board is comprised of the Harrow Association Manager James Virgin, the Harrow Association Administrator, Perena Shryane and Mr Damian Cox, master-in-charge of Careers.
Awards are more likely to be given to boys who are attempting adventurous or worthwhile overseas travel and/or to work for charities and good causes.
Applications can be made for both the Crawley Scholarships and the Association’s awards, with applicants having the chance to be successful in one or the other.
If boys would like to apply, please write to us, or email firstname.lastname@example.org or call in to see James Virgin, Harrow Association Manager, 5A High Street.
